About Tim

AZ Property Inspection’s Founder and President, Certified Inspector Tim, ACI has personally conducted more than 15,000 property inspections in Arizona since 1996. Tim also teaches highly acclaimed and informative Continuing Education classes for Realtors. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and has more than 30 years of experience as a property inspector.

Prior to his career in property inspections, Tim served as Director of Sales for a national environmental consulting firm in New York City. Tim has trained hundreds of Home Inspectors for their licenses and earned ASHI’s highest level of certification. Tim enjoys interacting with clients, students, realtors and CE class attendees and really enjoys giving back to the profession by teaching and mentoring.

About Liz

As our Vice President, Liz is responsible for AZ Property Inspections' Business Operations and Marketing. Prior to joining her husband’s business, Liz enjoyed a 25-year-long career in Marketing and Publishing. She has served in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors as an Editor, Marketing Director and VP of Communications.

Liz serves on the Board of Directors of WeSERV (West and Southeast Realtors of the Valley) and AZ ACT (Arizona Community Theatrical Company) and serves as a Coordinator for her local chapter of 100 Plus Women Who Care. She has conducted numerous training and educational sessions for various industries and business disciplines. Liz earned a BA degree in Communication/Journalism and a Masters of Arts degree in Organizational Management.

About Ali

Ali brings the positivity everyone needs to our Marketing Representative position! With years of marketing and project management experience, she has what it takes to lead all of our marketing strategies! She has a business degree from the University of Texas and when she’s not working you can find her riding horses or relaxing by the pool with her son.

About Caren

Caren was born in Brooklyn, NY and raised on Long Island. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Hunter College in New York City and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the State University of New York at Old Westbury. Caren has a background in teaching at the College level and has always had a passion for helping others. She relocated from New York to Scottsdale after meeting her husband in New York City and they have been living in AZ for 17 years. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her daughter and husband in the mountains.

About Kathy

Kathy does administrative work for AZ Property Inspections and keeps the office running smoothly. She has been a resident of Phoenix for more than 20 years.

Kathy has previously worked in Real Estate and in the Legal field. In joining AZ Property Inspections, Kathy is happy to be once again working in the Real Estate industry.

Chris, one of our Scheduling Coordinators, has a helpful, conscientious nature that fits seamlessly with AZ Property Inspections’ quality-oriented focus. With an affinity for service, she can always be counted on for caring and professional assistance. Chris earned her bachelor degrees in Economics and French from the University of Michigan and enjoyed a notable career in Retail Location Research. In 2006, she relocated to Arizona with her husband, Chip, and their two lovely daughters.

Keely brings years of administrative expertise to AZ Property Inspections and handles all of our coordination and administration for our Real Estate training school, AZ Property Training. Keely relocated to Phoenix from Des Moines, Iowa, where she attended Central College in Pella, Iowa. Prior to joining AZ Property Inspections’ team, Keely enjoyed a 20-year-long career in healthcare/management and is a Certified Interior Decorator.

Our Continuing Education class attendees and sponsors love working with Keely, who makes their Real Estate education experience a memorable one.

Katie is one of our wonderful Scheduling Coordinators. She was born & raised in Louisiana, but currently lives in Northern California with her husband & 3 kids. She has a degree in Hospitality Management & Tourism and was a dance minor in college. When she’s not working you can find her chasing her kiddos around or working on a macrame project.

DeAndra is one of our scheduling coordinators, excelling in managing complex schedules and ensuring efficient operations. She also has a dual career as a mortgage processor, leveraging her attention to detail and organizational abilities. DeAndra earned her bachelor's degree at New Mexico State University, with a diverse professional background that includes extensive experience in store management, honing her skills in leadership and customer service.

About Chad

Certified Inspector Chad, ACI is our most senior inspector and has conducted more than 5,000 home inspections in the Valley during the past 10 years and is also an AZ licensed Real Estate Agent. An Arizona native, with a professional communication style, Chad has a background in commercial and residential construction and carpentry, with a specialization in home building and remodeling.

Chad specializes in inspecting older homes, custom luxury homes and multifamily housing. He is also our residential “dog whisperer,” so homeowners with our four legged friends are in good hands with Inspector Chad.

About Thom

Prior to his career in property inspection, Certified Inspector Thom, ACI, spent 23 years in residential, industrial and commercial construction in Arizona. Thom’s multifunctional career brings with it technical expertise, vast customer service experience and a keen eye for details. Thom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing.

Thom’s customer oriented communication style and construction background help compliment a complete and educational inspection report.

Certified Inspector Eric conducted nearly 200 inspections prior to joining AZ Property Inspections’ team and has an impressive background in building/aluminum structures, as well as experience in carpentry and plumbing.

Eric took a break from construction to enter the Healthcare industry, where he enjoyed a career as an Emergency Medical Technician, working on ambulances and in pediatric intensive care. After years in the healthcare industry, he realized he wanted to return to his passion of home services and began his career as a licensed home inspector.

Certified Inspector Evan has a great communication style coupled with a strong attention to detail. He has a background in construction and facility management and an impressive work ethic. Evan hails from California and attended the University of Great Falls in Montana. Evan earns the respect of clients and strangers alike, as an invaluable resource in the real estate transaction process.

Certified Inspector Bryan, ACI conducted his parallel inspection training with us and we were impressed with his keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills! Bryan has an impressive and heroic background…a 24-year career as a Paramedic and Firefighter, where he achieved multiple levels of career advancement and conducted fire and safety inspections of commercial buildings.

Certified Inspector Marvin, ACI has an impressive background in Contracting and Construction, having held positions as a Project Manager, Superintendent and as an owner of a respected Valley construction firm before becoming a licensed inspector.

Marvin really knows home construction and our clients are fortunate to have his knowledge, experience and keen eye working for them.

About Jeff

Before becoming a Certified Inspector, Jeff spent nearly two decades working for fortune 500 firms as an Industrial Engineer. It was during this period of time that he led the construction of a 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Anniston, Alabama. After leaving the corporate world, Jeff purchased a generator repair facility in Mesa, Arizona and learned in depth electrical concepts and codes.

Inspector Jeff has been happily married for 40 years and has two adult sons. He loves to coach sports and has been active in Little League Baseball and Youth Soccer.

Certified Inspector Don West has an impressive 30+ years of construction and inspection experience in Arizona and in California. Don’s last name says it all! He hails from the West Valley and is super knowledgeable about these properties and developments in the Valley of the Sun. Don is also bilingual and can communicate his inspection findings to our Spanish-speaking clients. Don has a strong track record with Realtors, who trust his attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
